A leadership legacy, captured properly

Your current portrait isn't earning its place in your office.

When did you last update your executive photo? If you had to think about it, that's the answer. A dated photo can work against the credit you've earned. It should not be the first thing people see.

The Loss of Executive Permanence

Modern executive photography has degraded into disposable digital phone snaps and cheap file links. A quick download doesn't honor what a leadership portrait is supposed to represent.

A disposable file doesn't hold the weight your position has earned.

Institutional Credibility at Risk

Outdated or inconsistent leadership portraits show up on firm websites, investor decks, and conference programs. Every mismatched photo chips away at trust you've already earned.

A dated portrait undercuts the credibility your organization worked hard to build.

The Rush-Job Conveyor Belt

Generic portrait studios rush senior leaders through a five-minute photo shoot. No wardrobe guidance, no deliberate craftsmanship, just the next person in line.

A rushed session shows up in the final image, and everyone who sees it notices.

How many places is your old portrait still sitting? Every one of them chips away at the leadership you spent years building.

Permanence and dignity

Corporate leadership carries permanence and dignity. In an era of disposable digital media, senior leaders deserve a deliberate, unhurried portrait experience where every detail is meticulously crafted, delivering a portrait you are proud to display for generations.

Boardroom-grade portraiture

When was the last time you booked a real photo update? You've probably got a photo that mostly works, until it doesn't. That hesitation makes sense. You're not looking for a photographer. You're looking for someone who already knows what boardroom-grade leadership portraiture requires.

Eric Cathell Photography specializes in boardroom-grade archival portraiture and corporate leadership suites across Sussex County, Delaware, and the greater Mid-Atlantic region. Our process is built around the way executives actually work. Structured, unhurried, and private. Every session includes a private consultation, live on-screen image review during the shoot, and an archival framed canvas alongside your EA's press and digital suite.

Before you book

Questions people ask before they commit.

The session runs 60 to 90 minutes from start to finish. I'm set up and ready before you arrive, so your first shot happens within about 10 minutes of walking in. We also cover wardrobe and goals before the session, so we're not figuring things out when you get here.

Most people I work with say the same thing. We review images on a screen during the shoot, so you can see what's working before we're done. That one change makes a big difference for most people. You leave knowing the images are there, not hoping they'll turn out.

Yes. Standard turnaround is within a few business days. Rush delivery is available when you need files faster. If you have a specific date you're working toward, tell me upfront and I'll build the schedule around it.

The pre-session consultation covers exactly that. Where the images will appear, who the audience is, and what contexts they need to hold up in. I ask about investor materials, board-level use, press placements, and speaking bios because those aren't the same as a LinkedIn photo. If you want to see what working with me looks like end-to-end before you commit, I'll walk you through the whole process.

Yes. Your session is private from the start. We never share, post, or use your images without your written OK first. If you need an NDA, tell me before the session and I'll put one together for you.
